PROJECT OVER VIEW :

Surrounded by the melody of birdsong and the rustle of leaves, it offers its residents a sanctuary of peace. The walls of the home are constructed with remarkable thickness, ensuring optimal insulation. Stone plinth beams, sourced locally, provide a sturdy foundation, grounding the home in the earth and adding to its stability.

The exterior of the home is adorned with lime-plastered walls, reflecting the golden hues of the sun. The lime plaster not only provides a charming texture but also acts as a natural insulator, keeping the interiors cool in the scorching heat of Vedanthangal.

The roof, adorned with classic pan tiles, provides an elegant canopy. These tiles, arranged with precision, not only offer insulation but also create a visually appealing pattern.

The eco-conscious ethos of the home extends to waste management. A bio-digester tank efficiently treats organic waste, converting it into biogas and nutrient-rich compost. This sustainable approach ensures minimal environmental impact.

The thoughtful placement of windows and doors facilitates cross ventilation, allowing the gentle breeze from nearby water bodies to naturally cool the home. Additionally, an attic space above offers not only extra sleeping space but also acts as a natural buffer zone, further enhancing insulation.

Throughout the home, accents of reclaimed wood tell stories of the past. Weathered and aged, these wooden pieces are repurposed into doors, windows, and furniture, adding a rustic charm to the interiors and connecting the home to the history of the region.
